Dear Week 9th Jan

Dear Week,

I have discovered this week that a craft a day is just not going to be easy when you work full time and have a busy social life. I'm not entirely sure what i'm going to do now instead of this.

I have also not done very well when it comes to my 365 photos project either. I'm thinking this year i will start with monthly goals instead of daily tasks then next year i'll hopefully be into more of a routine!

This week i have eaten way too many takeaways, for the rest of this month i can have none. I will need to walk off the ones i have eaten, it's only the 9th today and i think i have had 5 takeaways! It's so bad!

I haven't uploaded any new items to my shop yet, but i am working on a few to put up hopefully by this time next week i will have things up :)

I've watched a few films this week, Batman the dark knight rises, the amazing spiderman, Dead or alive and Underworld Awakening.

I've not read much this week, but on my lunch breaks at work seem to be when i read the most.

I have dyed my hair this week, it's meant to be pink but just ended up staying red pretty much.

I stood in front of the mirror for 20 minutes last night trying to decide if i wanted to cut my hair or not. I've decided to leave it till my birthday in April and if i still want to cut it then, then i shall. It takes me so long to grow my hair i have to be sure.

This week i've hung out with my friends so much that tonight i'm going to have a quiet night in and go to bed early :)

The weather is getting colder so i think it's time to put scarfs on again!

I have been suffering from a cold this week which i can't seem to shift, hopefully it is gone before next weeks dear week.

I'm not drinking enough tea! I must get back to drinking tea. I miss it :( The tea at work doesn't count, it's not very much like tea.


Goals to be done before next week:

At least one item added to my shop

Drink more tea and water!

No Takeaways!

Take more photos!

Read more!

                                  Have more me time.

Current Obsessions

Hello,

I hope you are well. This is a list of things i am currently obsessed with right now :)

Feltidermy is one of my ultimate favourite things, this year i do plan on making my own versions of these. Last year i did knit a moose head, but it's not the same as feltidermy. I will post my progress on this soon :)

The Diana Dreamer, i have been in love with this for a while, i will definitely be buying this soon!! I'n going to be playing around with film cameras more this year, and i would love to add this one to my collection, not just cause it is mint green.

P.S Mint green is my favourite colour!!!

The Collector part one - Nail Varnish

Hello,

Have you had a good weekend? I've decided to introduce you to some of the items that i have found myself collecting over the years. This part is dedicated to Nail Varnish. It isn't a huge collection but i do find myself buying lots of nail varnish, but i am also very good at parting with nail varnish once it is no longer usable and it's went to that weird stringy way, do you know what i mean?

I seem to own a lot of blue and green nail varnish, which isn't really much of a surprise as i always have my nails painted in one of those colours. Usually green though! As it is my favourite colour!

This is the beginning of showing you my collections. I hope you have enjoyed getting a slight insight into my life so far in the previous blog posts. Part two of the collector series will be posted in the next couple of weeks.

Dear Week,

Dear Week,

Christmas and New Year is out of the way, that feeling of having something to look forward to has disappeared. Now it has been replaced with anticipation for what the year ahead brings.

Planning seems to be a big thing in my mind just now. Thinking of what my plans are month by month. I have bought myself a fliofax which I will hopefully remember to use on a daily basis. I must own about seven filofaxs, I buy one every year but I always seem to give up on them about Feburary time.

Work is going really well. Today is my first day of working permanent at my job. This brings with it a lot of excitement I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me with my job J

Drinking. I have decided that drinking is not a thing I enjoy. I do not enjoy the hangovers and I have a great time when I am out and not drinking. I sort of went off it a few years ago now, but now I’ve decided it’s not really for me.

Photo Taking. To be honest, I have already slightly failed at this. It’s only day three and I have only taken one of my three photo a day pictures. I think it’s going to take some getting used to, so you may have to bear with me.

Projects. I have a lot of upcoming projects for 2013, that have been in the planning stage for a few months now. My craft a day project starts on the 8^th January. I am sketching up a small baby range at the moment that once made will be available in my folksy shop. This will not be available until Febuary this year. Which isn’t far away to be fair. My progress will all be on here, and little sneak peeks as I go.

Walking. I appear to be walking a lot more rather than getting a bus or a taxi. I really enjoy walking around places. I just plug my headphones in and away I go J

Welcoming the New Year

Hello,

It’s the time of year I usually use to reflect on the past year, what I’ve achieved, what I haven’t achieved, where I would like to be this time next year, what my future goals are, where I would like to be this time next year.

It’s all these questions that seem to be running through my head just now, I can’t help but feel sad as well as excited for what the year will bring. How will my business go? Will I still have the same friends? Will my health be better?

If you think about it, twelve months really isn’t a long time. 365 days. If you had it written down in minutes and seconds it would definitely sound a lot longer. It always amazes me that even in that short time a lot can change.

This year I have set myself many goals, some I will not get done, some I will do and expand on. Who knows what the year will bring. I just hope that I can keep myself motivated and I will learn and discover new things along the way.

Hopefully this will be a positive year and I’ll enjoy it. If last year is anything to go by this year will probably be as full of surprises as the last!

Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2013. How did you celebrate yours?

I was at two separate parties but wasn't drinking so i was really exhausted come the bells. It also didn't help the fact i had been working till 3pm on the 31st as well! No matter, i still managed to keep my little self awake and i ended up getting home at 4.30am.

This was me at 4.30AM when i got home. I was so tired but i thought i would get my photo a day i am working on for 2013. So by 31st December this year i should have 365 photos :)

One of my other projects for 2013 is my craft a day. The first week in the book is all snowflakes, so i have decided seeing as it is not Christmas anymore i do not want to be making snowflake items. So i will not be starting this project until the 8th of January. Instead of my craft a day for this week, i plan on making a few items and listing them up in my folksy shop. So i will still be crafting!

I spent all of the 1st having a long lie, reading and watching American Horror Story. I've been in my PJ's all day, it's been a nice relaxing start to the year and it's so nice not being hungover and wasting this day!
