Hi,
I know I've not been blogging long here at all, but just because i haven't blogged about 2012 does not mean i haven't lived 2012.
I've had quite an eventful year, for starters in October 24th this year my little sister gave birth to my beautiful niece. She's 10 weeks old on Wednesday she is growing up so fast!!! To the right is April and I on Christmas day :)
In June the love of my life moved to England and the plan was for me to move down there too, but sadly this was not how it panned out. I am still living up here in Scotland, but we are still good friends so with the good comes the bad.
From August to November i took part in many craft fairs, i discovered that you need a lot of preparation and dedication to get ready for craft fairs. The number one thing i learnt was don't try and do too many craft fairs close together. I was doing craft fairs sometimes three a week. Which is just crazy unless you have been preparing all year, which i had not. Next year i am limiting myself to only four in total for the year.
2012 was also a year for spending a lot of time with friends, sadly i lost a friend i had known for a good few years in June this year. It's sad but true, losing my friend made me realise how important it is to spend time with friends and family. It's a horrible way to learn but that is how it works out.
Above is my friend Lionman and i. I call him lionman because he reminds me of a lionman, but his real name is Davey. We have been friends since about 2004 and this year we have become besties :)
This year i started watching kids movies and i discovered UP, i fell in love with this film even though it is totally heart breaking. It's definitely moved up my list of top favourite films ever :)
Along with UP i discovered the film BRAVE, that film is also really good. For being Scottish there is a few lines in that film that i really just can't figure out what on earth they are saying. Goodness knows how people who don't understand Scottish accents can watch that movie.
Both films to watch if you haven't already seen them :)
I have done a lot of knitting this year, and i will continue to do so for many years to come. I would like to learn how to crochet in 2013 because i still haven't practised that much or got the hang of it yet.
Time will tell :)
Along with all of the above, i got my first folksy sale,i got a new job in an oil company working in health and safety, i moved back into my parents house, i started a Cath Kidston collection ranging from bags, tape measures, sewing kits etc.
My next post will be my goals for 2013 :)
