A couple of weeks ago i commented on here that i was taking part in a craft fair,i was hoping to post more updates before it happened but sadly some personal stuff happened around the same time.
I thought i would however post up some photographs of the craft fair and some of the items i parted with when i sold them there. Do you ever get a little lump in your throat when you sell your stuff? The thought of never seeing it again? Then the feeling of knowing someone is wearing your art totally overcomes the sadness :)
On the morning of the craft fair we discovered when we were in the car on the way there that we needed tablecloths for the stalls! My grandma and granddad had to run down in the car and bring them, i was to say the very least very stressed! So my set up time calculated to about having 25 minutes left. After the panic was over i managed to get my table organised :)
My vintage scissor necklaces sold really well this day :)
I got really excited with making button rings that i ended up with a huge stock of them.
My sea of dreams bracelet is £8 and still available, i will be adding this to my etsy shop this weekend.
This bracelet ended up going with my mum she just couldn't help herself :)
I made this tooth ring out of clay for fun, i came home with this ring, i think i'm going to end up wearing it myself!
The handmade liquorice allsorts bracelet went to a good home, it went to one of my cousins. I was sad to see this one go, i will be making more of these. They will be available in my etsy shop in the made to order option they are £8.
Here are some of my button earrings, cameo brooches and my button rings. If you head over to my facebook page you can find these for sale there :)
This fair i made all of my own packaging, see above. I loved doing this craft fair, it was so busy! My mum covered for 45 minutes so Noble (my boyfriend) and i could go for a coffee and to browse some little nic nak shops.
This was a really good weekend, my grandparents run a B&B in St Andrews so we had somewhere to stay, so we made it into a nice little weekend. This was also the first weekend Noble and i went away for the weekend.
I think Noble was pleased when this fair was over, i was a lot like stressed and wasn't constantly making jewellery anymore.
Next craft fair will be in St Andrews again in September.
See you soon
